What is Airgon ™ and how does it work?
Airgon helps you reduce the cost of heating by ensuring that your boiler and heating system work at their optimum. Airgon continuously removes air and entrained gasses that forms colds spots in radiators and corrosion (magnetite) that causes breakdowns.

As the water enters the Airgon via the inlet, it swirls into a vortex within the chamber.

This creates a difference in pressure which encourages the entrained air and gasses in the water to leave.

As the water reaches the outlet of the Airgon the action of the vortex increases and the bubbles of air rise upwards.

These bubbles are collected and released from the system through the one-way air vent.

The water is drawn out through the outflow to continue around the system but will now not cause cold spots in radiators and sludge cannot form - and the cycle continues.

How does it work?
Air dissolved in the water in your heating system is released when the water is heated. This plays havoc for many reasons which are explained on our website. Airgon removes the air and ensures the heating system works at optimum levels, which saves you money and prevents breakdowns.
Will it work with a really old boiler?
Yes. The age of the boiler isn't important. Airgon will improve system efficiency and return the entire heating system back to optimum levels.
Is it visible once it's fitted?
That depends on where you fit it! Usually it's in a cupboard, loft or somewhere out of sight.
How quickly will it pay for itself?

Do I need to change my radiators?
No. Your current radiators are fine, but if your system has a lot of magnetite (sludge) build up we would recommend flushing it first.
How long does it take to fit?
A plumber (who doesn't have to be gas safe approved to fit Airgon) will probably need between 20 and 30 minutes. You can fit it yourself if you're confident but please follow the instructions carefully.

Do I need to bleed my radiators before fitting Airgon?
No. Airgon will remove the trapped air from radiators over time, but it will help speed up savings if you do bleed your radiators. Once Airgon is fitted, you won't have to bleed them anymore.
